1969 COPO Camaro General Motors approved Continuation. Professionally built. Garnet Red, professionally built and tuned L-89 427 with an M21 4-speed and 4.10 posi-traction 12-bolt rear end. Titled a a 1969 Chevrolet Replica Specially Constructed.
Details
COPO Continuation Series car approved by General Motors. Used as a development car by Classic Automotive Restoration Specialists. The original 427 has been removed and replaced with an original 1968 427cid big block with aluminum heads, known as an L-89 which was overhauled and tuned by Paul Pfaff Racing Engines in 2012. Correct distributor. Converted to electronic. All the fluids replaced in 2012. The car has all of the other correct components including a Muncie 4-speed M21 that was replaced
in 2012. Also features a new Moser 12-bolt rear with 4.10 gears and Eaton 800lb/ft posi-traction unit. Correct new brake system, front disc and rear drums. Painted correct Code 52 Garnett Red with black standard trim. This car is new, with all components from the top licensed manufacturers such as American Auto Wire new wiring harness, US Radiator, BFGoodrich tires and PUI Gold Class Interior just to name a few. Best of the best sheet metal, hood is GM, cowl panel is GM, rear spoiler and radiator support are from the GM original tooling, all of which is still available today. All other sheet metal is from GM licensed suppliers. This car is new in every aspect, all components are top quality and new, nothing rebuilt. Car has been featured in magazines and on the cover of Super Chevy magazine. Also has been a SEMA feature car in 2008. Car is used as a SEMA SAN, SEMA Action Network, brochure car. This car can be driven, shown or used in AACA competition or concours events.
