Details
Listed in The Shelby Registry, S1066. Shipped to Autos Lima Tambo, a Lincoln Mercury dealer, Lima, Peru Feb. 23, 1966. Eventually ending up in the hands of Teodoro Yagali, who raced it extensively, including the Caminos Del Inca, a 3,000 kilometer race. Yagali won the Caminos Del Inca in both 1972 and 1973. 1066 remained in Peru, reportedly in a tractor trailer, until being returned to the US in 2002. Originally a green and automatic car, it was restored as you see it today. A GT350 with a very
unique story and one, given its history, that surprisingly still retains its original engine.
