This 1956 Chevrolet custom Cameo bed pickup is definitely a one-of-a-kind Hot Rod. When you have a 1956 Chevy truck, add a Cameo bed, chop the top 2', then cover it a brilliant red paint, and you have a great start to a gorgeous pickup. Slam it on the ground, add 20' and 22' chrome Coy wheels and the truck becomes an awesome looking ride. New chrome bumpers, grille and emblems were added to give just enough contrast to the solid red color. A fuel injected Chevy LT1 backed by a 700R transmission
gives this truck a reliable yet powerful motor. The smooth ride and Hot Rod stance are achieved by Camaro style front independent suspension and a 10-bolt Chevy rear end held by leaf springs. The interior features leather bucket seats, custom door panels and a custom dash. It also has a tilt steering column and the beautiful oak floor bed covers a fuel cell that was moved to the rear of the truck.
