The DeLorean DMC-12 is an iconic car from the 80's. Complete service and repair is available at all DeLorean Motor Company locations using the original and reproduction parts and proper procedures. DeLorean Motor Company, Northwest performed a minor restoration of this car in 2009. The interior was freshened with new molded carpets, new dashboard with refinished instrument binnacle, new seat skins, new headliners and a new leather shift boot. The sound system was updated with a Sony Xplod head

unit, and new high-end speakers. This car was mechanically updated with a 30,000 major service, new cooling system hoses and new drive belts. The entire braking system was overhauled, and the air conditioning system was converted to R-134A refrigerant. Exterior updates included refinished front and rear facias in the correct color and sheen, new engine cover, refinished louver and rear screen finisher. The roof seals were replaced, along with outer weatherstripping. The central door locking system was converted to a one-key system, and features a new digital door lock control unit and updated linear actuators installed in the doors. All relays and fuses were replaced. In September of 2011, this unit came back to DMC Northwest for further improvements and service items. The horns were replaced with modern 125db units and the taillight circuit boards were serviced. Many light bulbs were converted to modern LED's for longer life and lower power consumption. A variety of other minor service items attended to bringing this car up to a high standard of condition and reliability. The alternator was replaced in early September of 2011, the clutch was replaced before the above restorations and now has about 6,000 miles on it. The front suspension was previously lowered, using Eibach springs.
