This outstanding Bronco Ranger 4x4 sport wagon was born at Ford's Michigan truck plant, coming off the production line on February 25, 1977. In recent years it has been treated to a full concours quality restoration. After being disassembled, this Bronco was given a top quality repaint in its original Copper Metallic with all of the light tan accents having been professionally applied. vinyl bolsters for both the front bucket seats and extra cost rear seat, loop pile carpeting for the floor, wheel housing and even the tailgate, upgraded burl wood-tone interior door panels and padded dashboard with matching dual sun visors. Has the lever and knob controlled heater and defroster system and in the dash is the original push-button AM radio. This is an extremely well appointed example which was factory equipped with the heavy duty front stabilizer bar, an auxiliary 7-gallon fuel tank complete with skid plate, extra cooling package, the very desirable 'Free Running' front hubs and chrome front and rear bumpers, as well as the deluxe body side moldings. One upgrade employed was the use of the 1978 Bronco chrome wheels. Under the hood, the original and optional small block V8 engine looks just as it did when new, detailed to include factory markings and decals while showing off the unique dual-chamber master cylinder that controls the front disc and rear drum brakes, power steering and dependable full electronic ignition. Nearly anyone can drive this off-roader with ease by using the column shift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and shifting from rear wheel drive to full 4-wheel drive is achieved with a simple shifting of the floor mounted lever.
