Details
Here is an original, fully restored J Code 429 Cobra Jet with air conditioning, 8-track stereo, power steering, power brakes, tint, tilt wheel, auto seat release and Mach 1 comfort. Originally sold new near Pasadena for around $5,000. Total rotisserie restoration with all drivetrain parts rebuilt, with a change of wheels. Color changed to Raven Black base clear and accented by Argent trim and black/silver interior for a better than factory look. Built in Dearborn and sold less than two weeks
later, this car spent most of its life in California then moved to Texas, brought up to Canada from Houston in 1998 and completed the every bolt out restoration last year. Has less than 500 miles since being put back on the road. Redone C6 has a mild shift kit with a 2,500rpm stall unit in front, currently has an upgraded 3.50 Track-Lok differential. One of the last high compression performance cars put out by the Ford factory.
