This '40 Ford Street Rod was a no-expense-spared custom build by the late Boyd Coddington and featured on his Discovery Channel series 'American Hot Rod'. The car was built over the course of three shows, Season 4, episodes 11, 12 and 13. The car is powered by Corvette LS2 crate engine with matching GM automatic transmission and it features a full custom Boyd Coddington frame which is polished and every bit the work of art as the top of the car. The interior is finished in all-tan Ferrari
Daytona-style leather upholstery with Chocolate Brown accents and features a custom modern gauge cluster in the stock housing, tilt steering column, custom steering wheel. Additional features include a full power Hartz cloth soft top, custom Boyd Coddington wheels, independent rear suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, modified bumpers, shaved door handles, smoothed running boards. Since completion, the car has always been stored in a climate controlled facility as part of a large collection.
