Evidence of its power was a 4.9 second 0-60 time and a quarter mile sprint in 11.9 seconds. The 'King of the Hill' did not come cheap. This car was not meant for the bargain conscious, the ZR1 option added $27,016 to the base price of $31,979. This ZR1 is equipped with the only 2 options available which are dual removable roof panels at $915 and electronic air conditioning for $180. Window Sticker on this ZR1 was $60,090. Available only in a coupe, the 1990 ZR1 is distinguishable from other Corvettes by its 3' wider tail section, 11' wide rear wheels, its convex rear fascia with 4 square taillights and rear ZR1 badges.
