Details
This pickup restoration started with a clean, rust-free 2-wheel drive body and frame. We opted for a high performance 327 powerplant. It has performance upgrades and 'camel hump' heads. The truck is equipped with Hooker competition headers complimented by Flowmaster dual exhaust. High horsepower is controlled by a rebuilt Turbo-Hydromatic 400 transmission with a B&M shift kit. A factory coil spring suspension supports a limited slip 3.48 rear end and puts power to the ground via 12' Mickey
Thompson radials on GM Series 33 wheels. The sheet metal, including the original tailgate, required very little body filler to obtain a beautiful mirror like finish which is highlighted by the hand buffed multi-stage deep blue metallic paint. The interior is equipped with custom gray leather Tuck-N-Roll bucket seats, door panels and headliner. It also sports molded carpet, tinted glass, factory tachometer and gauges. See the unique custom red oak bed floor with polished stainless steel rails. This is a great driving truck with power steering and power front disc brakes.
