Partially restored, was traded back to the original selling dealer, the consignor now retired, in 1978. In 1986 it was painted the original Marlin Blue and detailed to celebrate the dealership's 50th year. Actual documented miles are currently 78,700. Originally designed by General Motors for Cadillac but was rejected for not fitting in with their big car theme. Lucky for Buick, the Riviera became one of the best selling 2 door sport classics for more than 3 decades. Equipped with a 425cid

In 1989 the engine was overhauled and balanced to correct carbon build-up due to miles of town driving. Service records go with the car. Additional factory options include air conditioner, power windows, power antenna, 4-way power driver's seat, tilt steering wheel and front bucket seats with operating console. The 1965 Riviera chrome wheels were added to give a more contemporary look. It has been shown in several concourses.
