This 1963 1/2 Galaxie R Code 427/425hp dual 4-barrel that is equipped with all original factory lightweight components, including a set of lightweight fiberglass doors. Holman Moody prepared these cars for Ford to compete in the Super Stock wars of the mid-sixties. Lightweight fiberglass components were added to the R Code 427/425hp Galaxie to insure an advantage over the competition. This car has retained the original lightweight components that were added. With these components being in
limited production they are highly sought after and very rarely still retained today. This original 1963 1/2 R Code Galaxie not only retains a complete set of lightweight body panels, it also has a set of factory produced lightweight aluminum bumpers.
