This car has just received a 3-year, no expense spared, frame-off, nut and bolt restoration. All the work was done to the highest of standards using as many original and NOS parts as possible. It is highly documented as coming from the factory as a Rally Red with black leather interior, 427/400hp Tri-Power, softtop only convertible, optioned with air conditioning, factory installed side exhaust, telescopic wheel, transistor ignition, speed warning, power windows, power brakes, power steering,
tinted glass, AM/FM radio, rally wheels, M21 Muncie close-ratio and 3.55 posi-traction differential. It is an extremely correct numbers matching car, with a properly date coded 3904351 block that has been broached and has had the original assembly date & VIN restamped. The documentation on this car is amazing. There is a 3' thick binder that is included with the car that has the original Tank Sticker, 3 NCRS awards that include 2 Top Flights and 1 National Second Flight awarded 11 years after first restoration, owner history back to day 1 and tons of receipts. It was owned by one of the Northwest NCRS chapter's former presidents. This car was frame-off restored in 1988 to NCRS standards and received Top Flight awards, was driven and received another frame-off restoration of the same quality that was finished in 2009, with test miles only.
