Details
Less than 3,100 actual miles, completely original paint, interior, chrome, etc. This car was purchased new form Dean Chevy in Michigan in 1963 by Emmett Ellis. In 1966 it was transferred to his wife. In 1976 Dean Chevy traded a new Vega even up for the Corvair, at the time the car had only 800 miles on it. Dean then loaned the car to the Sloan Museum until 1984. Then Dean took the car back and put it in his showroom until 1987. He sold the car to Bill Ackerman. Bill passed away in 2005 and his
brother Fred inherited the car. This car is one of the best Corvairs in the country. Runs and drives beautifully.
