This Austin-Healey 3000 is the first year of the much improved MK II BJ7 2+2 sports convertible with roll-up windows replacing the plastic sliding curtains of the previous MK II of 1962. The fixed convertible top is much improved over the old roadster top which was a chore to put up. The Healey Blue color goes well with the Nave Blue leather/vinyl interior which is the correct combination for the exterior color. The transmission has the optional overdrive which works well and reduces the rpm at
highway speeds. The car has had a body-on restoration in the past and looks great, including the chassis. This is a great driving Healey and will give you many miles of fun as well as a lot of thumbs up as you go by with that sweet Austin-Healey sound.
