Details
When Oldsmobile introduced its new 1957 Golden Rocket Super 88 Fiesta hardtop wagon, it was not a Fisher body. Oldsmobile contracted with custom coach builder Mitchell-Bentley Ionia Body Company to custom build its Fiesta wagon. Mitchell had been in business since the teens and was very familiar with coach building. In the 1950's, Mitchell-Bentley built the 1953-54 Packard Caribbean convertibles, the 1956-57 Lincoln Continental Mark II and Fiesta wagons. Restored in the early 90's and later
freshened up by Bob Schmidt Restorations. This top of the line Super 88 Fiesta is powered by a 371cid V8 with a Hydra-Matic transmission. It has power steering, power brakes, J-2 Tri-Power and factory roof rack. Correct SMS interior and factory colors with the custom Ionia coach built factory body makes this a beautiful and rare combination.
