I am the third owner of this vehicle. I had it professionally restored in 2004. We installed a new top, new side curtains from the Thing Shop, totally new exhaust system with 'through the bumper' pipes, replaced all seat cushions and coverings, went through all mechanicals replacing any components that did not meet OEM standards, installed new tires, chrome wheels, fog lamps and running boards. The heater works great. It has been driven less than 1,000 miles since restoration and has been
garaged. Since restoration, it has not been driven in rain, snow or unpaved roads. An unusual feature is dealer-installed front seat headrests. The vehicle is carpeted in tight loop including the rear storage area and rear seat backs so when the seats are folded down you have a fully carpeted area. This car is in showroom condition. It was Runner Up in our local Antique Car Club show which involves 300 to 400 cars. It received a Sponsor Trophy in the 'Last Fling Show' in West Point, NE. This show draws 500 to 600 cars from a 200-mile radius. This car is a head turner wherever it goes. I would not hesitate to drive it on a cross-country tour.
