This 1969 Chevelle SS 396 convertible, RPO Z-25, was manufactured in June at the Kansas City plant. A meticulous, factory-correct, rotisserie restoration was performed to the highest degree which is evident in every way including its laser-straight finish. The 396 big block Code 'JC', cast #3955272 with a cast date of E-16-9, is the optional 350hp version which was achieved by a combination of carburetion, exhaust and camshaft. 4-speed with 11' Super Duty clutch and the rear axle is the 12-bolt, cast #3959038NF which is dated E-19-9 with Code 'CI', 3.73 posi-traction. Now for the glamour: It is finished in Garnet Red, Code '52', with SS side stripes, Pearl White upholstery and Strato bucket seats, Code '791'. Special instrumentation on the car include needle gauges, tachometer and clock. The stereo system is the AM/FM with a four speaker 8-track player.
