This little cutie is also known as 'Dreamboat'. Dreamboat was purchased by Mrs. Wilson D. Speight on April 24, 1956. Not only did she nickname her little pet 'Dreamboat', she treated it just the same. When it finally came time, she sold it to the local dealer. That night she noticed that Dreamboat was sitting outside for the first time in its life. In a panic, Mrs. Speight promptly called the dealer and demanded that Dreamboat be put indoors for the night and for always, otherwise she was coming

back to take Dreamboat away. This is how Dreamboat has been taken care of her entire life; with care, pampering and TLC along the way. She has had the same owner for 13 years. Dreamboat has undergone a complete pan-off-frame restoration and has turned out to be one of the finest 1956 small window bugs in the country. The car has extensive paperwork history, including the original Bill of Sale from 1956 as well as a 3-ring binder of organized paperwork with the original manual and numerous awards and trophies from her shows. In addition, there is a photographic journal of the complete restoration. From stem to stern, the nut and bolt process is recorded. Dreamboat is an excellent 1956 Volkswagen small window Beetle in every way. The heater works, the windows work and even the radio works.
