Description

If you're going out to some hot night club, you'll need something to cool you down afterwards. Enter Monster Garage. The team took a 1996 Lincoln Town Car limousine and turned it to a stretched, super-soaker limo. To begin the transformation, the team ripped out the car's midsection and cut the roof so that it would open like a clamshell and allow the main nozzle to come through. A water pump was then installed capable of delivering 1,250 gallons per minute at 1,500 rpm with 150 pounds of pressure and a system of pipes that would deliver water to 2 additional hoses. Emergency lights, a chrome handrail and a diamond-plate step extending from behind the limo's front door to the rear-wheel well rounded out the town car's functional transformation. For its external makeover, House of Kolor really laid it on. The limo received a base coat of Blue-Blood Red paint and two coats of Ice-Red Pearl. Two coats of Mini-Fireball Red metal flake were then applied, followed by one coat of Fireball-Red metal flake and two coats of Candy Apple Red. A coat of clear sealer, KMC Clocker-model wheels and a metal-flake naugahyde roof with French-seam stitches all completed the job. In the end, Jesse and his team had successfully created a 5,000-pound firefighting limousine able to extinguish flames atop a six story building. 'Putting out a fire is fine, but I still think we should go to the Oscars and squirt the paparazzi,' said Jesse James. THE TEAM: Jesse James, custom-bike builder/designer, Long Beach, CA, Vini Bergman, custom-limo builder, CA, Ed Blanford, car designer, Southern CA, Steve Dennish, Hot Rod creator, La Mirada, CA, Wink Eller, custom-bike builder, Wink's Performance and Machine, Orange, CA, Rick Goodell, fire-engine engineer, WI, Paul Johnson, mechanic, Artesia, CA, Lisa Legohn, welding instructor, Los Angeles Trade Technical College and Compton Community College, Los Angeles, CA, Tom Prewitt, custom painter, Damon's Motorcycle Creations, Brea, CA, and Michael Shrout, fireman, Long Beach, CA. V8 4.65 Liter engine with rear-wheel drive and automatic transmission. Monster Machine Specs: Waterous fire pump, nozzles, emergency lights, diamond-plate step, chrome handrail, KMC wheels (Clocker model), metal-flake Naugahyde roof, and House of Kolor paint. **SOLD ON A BILL OF SALE. SPECIAL CONDITIONS APPLY**

It's a good thing this limo delivers 1,250 gallons per minute, otherwise this 'hot' Lincoln might go up in flames. Sold on a Bill of Sale only. Special conditions apply.
