Description
1942 is the rarest of all Continentals. Only 136 Cabriolets were built out of production that totaled only 336 units in all in the short year before civilian automobile production ended. The 1942 Continental also got a larger 306cid V12 engine with 130hp which is 10 more than earlier models. This very rare 1942 Continental Cabriolet benefits from a thorough restoration that now has been driven a bit and still fabulous throughout. Painted black, the interior is an attractive Dark Tan color that complements the tan cloth top. It is equipped with white wall tires, power windows, clock and radio. The seat's location is manually controlled. The 3-speed transmission is equipped with overdrive to lower engine rpm during highway driving. It is a solid, accurately restored Continental that is 1 of just 136 built. It is one of the rarest of all Lincoln Continentals.
1 of just 136 built for 1942. One of the rarest Lincolns and fully restored. Finished in black with tan leather interior.
