This hard to find 1968 Mercury Cyclone GT fastback with a 390 GT engine, GT equipment group package, power steering and power disc brakes, as noted in it's Marti Report, is an example of one of the few remaining muscle cars so highly admired yesterday and today. The car is from the West coast and sat for considerable number of years before being rescued and restored by the previous and current owner. The drivetrain, including a 390 GT engine and the C-6 automatic transmission was professionally rebuilt. The sports suspension and steering components, u-joints as well as a new exhaust system, were replaced and brought back to original condition. The car was painted 1968 Mercury Calypso Coral and the upholstery was redone in black. All rubbers have been replaced as well as required glass.
