An exemplary, classic British motor-coach presented in mostly original/restored-as-needed condition. Much of the paint is believed original along with the mileage, the glass, headliner, mirrors, brightwork, transmission, and the 4 1/2 litre engine. Even the original, complete tool kit, hard bound owner's handbook, and a copy of a vintage shoppe manual come with this Bentley. Luxury touches include the original privacy shade, sun roof, back seat foot rests, polished fold-down picnic trays for rear passengers, rear side vanity mirrors, multiple ash trays, and more. This car was purchased new in London, England by a Doctor who then moved to the U.S. and brought his prized Mark VI with him. In his old age, he sold it to a friend of his who he knew would take pride in ownership and look after it well. The second owner kept it for a number of years before he sold it within his family in 1988 where it has been maintained and kept in the family garage with their other classic British cars. The aging wood was expertly refinished to an absolutely stunning standard. All of the original planks and panels were saved and restored to their initial glory with superb attention to detail. The leather and carpets have also been replaced as the original materials deteriorated with the passing decades. This handsome Mark VI has a dramatic presence in chiseled tuxedo black. It runs and drives excellent and is sure to please with classic luxury and quintessentially British curb presense.
