With a 292cid Traco race motor, this race car came with RPO 687 heavy duty brakes and suspension, fuel injection and evidence on the body shows it was once fitted with a 24 gallon fuel tank which has since been replaced with a necessary fuel cell for racing. Additional legal upgrades through the years include a larger aluminum radiator, dual master cylinder with bias control, shrouded oil cooler, larger front anti-sway bar, special hardened steel axles, one wire alternator, extra gauges with

warning lights, 1/2' extended wheel studs and driver controlled fire system. The motor was built to run hard and survive with the best parts money can buy. A date code correct block is included with purchase. The current owner obtained the car in 1995 and like the previous owner enjoyed many years of racing in C-production. A radio and heater delete car which was never street registered until the 1980s. GM mechanics at the 1990 Monterey Historics, with Zora Duntov, stated that it was potentially a GM test or mule car and it was autographed by Duntov at the same time.
