Details

Renowned Kar Kustomizer Rick Dore's Art Deco-influenced 1934 Ford Roadster is the perfect example of his gifted sensibility for design. Displayed in 2004 at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas winning top honors, including Best of Show and the Ford Heritage Award, among many others. Awards not included. Starting with a Stage 3 TCI chassis, Rick then used a billet Air Ride Technologies ShockWave to allow the Ford 9' rear to be raised and lowered 4' to achieve that special stance. The front uses a TCI

dropped axle with disc brakes and the entire undercarriage has been chrome plated. The frame has been powder coated medium texture black and the underside of the body undercoated similarly. The motor is a new aluminum-head Ford Racing 302 crate motor dressed with chrome accessories that reflect on the polished stainless steel firewall. The motor is hooked to a new Ford C-4 automatic and breathes through Hooker headers with a custom Flowmaster 2.5' exhaust and mufflers. A new U.S. Radiator and cooling fan keeps the ticker at the proper temperature. Covering the motor is a chrome plated Valley stainless grille. The chromed, one-off DuVall-styled windshield frame, designed by Dore, was chopped 1' with the A-pillars angled parallel to one another. Out back, the rear pan was extended 13' and 1936 Ford rear fenders with flush-mounted fender skirts were fabricated from scratch. The interior's custom inner door panels, bucket seats and two-piece billet tilt-column have been upholstered in white Italian Mother of Pearl. The dashboard, tops of the doors and area behind the seats have all been sculpted and flow down into the center console. The dash uses a gauge surround designed by Motorhead Jewelry and encapsulates a pair of Classic Instruments backed by a Gibson guitar Mother of Pearl insert. This vehicle has no top. **SOLD AS A PAIR WITH LOT 714.1**
