As the first new Mustang performance nameplate in 21 years, the heart of Ford Mustang Dark Horse is an all-new fourth-generation Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine with a dual air-intake box and throttle-body design. The engine sends 500hp and 418 ft/lbs of torque to a unique 6-speed Tremec manual transmission. This Ford Mustang Dark Horse includes a transmission oil cooler, engine oil cooler, rear axle cooler and improved engine cooling capability. It also boasts unique chassis tuning and heavy-duty front springs. Stopping is courtesy of Brembo 6-piston front brakes with 14-inch rotors. Handling is enhanced with MagneRide suspension, K-brace, Torsen rear differential and standard Pirelli Trofeo RS tires on staggered wheels (19x10.5 front and 19x11 rear).
