Details
Previously owned by musician Jimmy Buffett (James William Buffett), this 1958 Metropolitan convertible was originally sold by Ty Houck, owner of Ragtops Motorcars in West Palm Beach, FL. Buffett sold the car back to Ragtops in 2008. It was then purchased by the current owner and transported to Maryland, where it went through a body restoration, receiving new metal floor pans, rocker panels, adjusted doors and door frames, straightened and rechromed bumpers, and the whole car was repainted. No
material changes to the 1491cc 4-cylinder engine or 3-speed manual drivetrain were made. It was stored in an HVAC-controlled garage and only driven minimally for personal use. During the restoration, the driver mirror was moved to the door and the passenger mirror was added. A framed photograph of Jimmy Buffett in the vehicle is included in the sale. **TITLE BRANDED NOT ACTUAL MILES**
