2014 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CALLAWAY CONVERTIBLE

This 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 convertible has been given the full Callaway treatment and is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine rated at 627hp and 610 ft/lbs of torque. To reach those numbers, Callaway employed a 2.3-liter positive displacement supercharger with high helix angle, 4-lobe rotor pack and a new in-house-designed long-runner intake manifold, intercooler and single-chamber exhaust system. Cooling efficiency is enhanced by the intercooler system's three discrete liquid-to-air cooling elements and by having the top of the supercharger housing stick out through the hood. Harnessing the 627 horsepower is GM's 6-speed automatic transmission with active rev-matching paddle shifters, which sends twist to the polished aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot tires. The interior features Ebony leather heated power bucket seats, power windows, power locks and a dual-zone climate control. The 3LT package adds a premium Bose AM/FM 10-speaker stereo, power tilt/telescoping steering column, auto-dimming mirrors, magnetic ride control, multi-mode performance exhaust and a heads-up display.
