1965 FACTORY FIVE COBRA RE-CREATION ROADSTER

Details

This Factory Five MK4 Cobra re-creation roadster was built with all-new parts and a complete kit with options, including a powder-coated frame, leather seats, premium gauges, heater and wipers. Built by its owner in 2014, it has 2,240 miles since its completion. It’s powered by a new Boss 302ci Ford engine from Ford Racing, which is rated at 340hp and more than 280hp at the rear wheels at 5,300-foot elevation; dyno sheets are included. The Boss engine has 4-bolt mains, is internally balanced,

and is designed for a supercharger, aluminum heads, roller cam and roller rockers. The Boss designation is cast into the bottom of the block along the oil pan edge, and is stamped into the top of the block behind the intake manifold. A Ford Racing tag is also affixed to the engine block on the right side. The engine is equipped with a Weiand aluminum intake, Holley 670 carburetor, Factory Five ceramic-coated headers, Power Master clocking starter, Edelbrock polished water pump and an Optima battery. Backing the Boss engine is a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, Ford 8.8 limited-slip rear differential and a 355 ratio rear end. This roadster is also equipped with 3-link rear suspension with coilovers, rack & pinion steering, and 4-wheel Ford disc brakes with ceramic pads. There is lots of chrome, polished aluminum and stainless under the hood, and a handmade cherry wood dash panel inside the cockpit. **TITLED AS A 1965 ASVE**
