The car's current owner has had it completely overhauled to its now beautiful condition. It has the original Becker Europa radio (working), manuals, trunk tools and metal warranty/data card from Mercedes-Benz of North America with chassis and engine numbers. The original brown leather seats are in excellent condition. It has the original ivory steering wheel with an added hand-stitched brown leather cover, a new headliner, new dashboard covering, seatbelt straps and carpeting in both interior

and trunk. New levers and controls for the car's heating and ventilation system were also installed. The clock was sent for repair and works. The brown canvas convertible top was replaced in 2004. The original dark brown color was repainted in an Ivory Cream color by the current owner. Taken down to the bare metal, it was then primed, and two coats of paint in an Ivory Cream color and then a gel coat were applied in 2011. After painting, new door, window and trunk seals were installed. The engine was dismantled and completely overhauled during the winter of 2012/13. Since the engine overhaul, the car has been driven less than 750 miles. The current owner had a custom air conditioning system installed when it was purchased in 1998 and it is in working order. A rack to hold the car's hardtop and cover is included for storage. This car drives and shows beautifully.
