This 1965 Mustang Convertible Resto-Mod has been restored and finished in a tri-color LeMans Blue (PPG base coat/clear coat) with a white leather Pony interior, dark blue carpeting and a factory Mustang center console. Custom full frame by Chassis Engineering, larger rear wheel housings that added 2.5' more in each rear wheel well. It has a posi-traction differential that delivers power to 17x11' American Racing Torq Thrust wheels on BFGoodrich radial TAs and complemented with a custom 4-point
roll bar. Air Ride Technologies 4-link, level 3 ShockWaves air suspension combined with a Global West negative roll front suspension. Wilwood power 4-wheel disc brakes. The transmission is a completely renewed C4 automatic, Red Devil clutches and steels, performance valve body and the shift timing has been tuned. 9' rear end with 3.70:1 gear set. The engine is an original A-Code 289 4V, with oversize valves in custom ported and polished factory cylinder heads, a Ford street racing camshaft and double timing chain and gearset, with 10.5:1 pistons. This engine has been blueprinted and balanced. Dyno-tested at 330hp at 5,500 rpm. Vintage Air Gen-IV SureFit air conditioning. Holley 750 double pumper and Carter mechanical pump. Dual exhaust with Flowmasters and 4' custom tailpipes. Flaming River stainless steel tilt steering column, 19:1 quick-ratio power steering gear and complete Moog steering system linkage. New Haartz Pinpoint Stayfast vinyl convertible top with all new hydraulics and electric pump. Classic retro sound by Luna. All chrome parts new or rechromed. Custom-finished trunk in fine blue velour. Soundproofing by FatMat Sound Control.
