This 1949 Chevrolet 5-window truck has just completed a year long restoration in January 2014. It has had a complete box-off restoration. It is a true 1/2 ton short bed truck. It is also a rust-free California manufactured truck. It was taken apart and all the bodywork was done and painted with base coat/clear coat finish. The 235 engine is very easy to start with the 12-volt conversion. It starts well even when it is cold. It has an original 4-speed granny transmission. The new Canary hardwood
bed with stainless strips really stands out. The entire interior is new and all the gauges work. The new Coker tires add that little extra.
