Showcasing a great example of a 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40 4x4 that has been completely restored to factory specifications with only test miles. It retains the original colors and matching numbers F engine. This FJ-40 was built in March of 1969. It spent most of its life in Northern California. A comprehensive restoration was performed and finished in 2012. The cost of the restoration exceeds common sense. A laundry list of NOS parts were used on this truck. The entire vehicle was taken down

to bare metal including the frame and all suspension components. It was painted in its original colors of Olympus White with Cygnus White roof. Together, these two colors complement each other very well. The paint is a single stage PPG product. Single stage was used in keeping the theme of what Toyota originally used with FJ40s going down the assembly line. It's sitting on all factory wheels painted in the correct Toyota Grey with brand new BFG all-terrains that are 30/9.50/15. The new exterior is complimented with a new white interior with grey accents. It features a lot of correct equipment that you don't see very often in other FJ-40s, such as the red seat belts. The interior of these vehicles have plenty of room and offer rear fold down seats for passengers. The engine compartment is very detailed and home to the original F Code engine. The engine starts and runs excellent. All of the proper decals are on the air cleaner, valve cover and radiator. It even has the orange fan blade, which often gets overlooked in many restorations. The engine is coupled with a 3-speed transmission, which shifts smoothly. A recent front end alignment was performed at a Toyota dealership and it tracks well on the open road. The undercarriage is nicely detailed to OEM Toyota specifications. It's a semi-gloss black. This is a very nostalgic vehicle with an outback feel.
