The GTD Speedster is a world famous one-of-a-kind sports car that was designed and built by a team of automotive professionals. Numerous magazine and newspaper articles have been published on this vehicle. It was awarded the Car and Driver Editor's Choice award at the Rolling Sculpture Car Show in Ann Arbor, MI on July 14 2006 by Car and Driver Magazine. It has been hand crafted and the project was initiated as an exercise in engineering and styling with no holds barred. This vehicle is fully
engineered. It was designed and fabricated using both state of the art CAD tools and conventional methods. The GDT Speedster contains more than 2,000 components that were designed and crafted just for this vehicle. The vehicle was completed in November 2005. The GDT Speedster features a ridged steel frame and steel underbody that is fully welded in place. The body panels are molded from a hybrid of e glass and Kevlar cloth with vinyl ester resin.
