This fully functional Kittredge K350 2 man 1ATM dry submersible was designed and tested by George Kittredge to reach a maximum depth of 350 feet. Completed in 1988 this submarine has made over 100 successful dives utilized primarily for recreation purposes. Equipped with 3 12-volt DC propulsion motors and 8 105 amp/hr deep cycle marine batteries replaced in 2011. Includes a custom tandem trailer which launches and transports the submarine like a boat. Low operating costs using oxygen, compressed air, Sobasorb CO2 scrubber and rechargeable battery powered. Easy to operate with basic understanding of control system. Maximum operating depth 350 feet, cruising speed 1 knot with a maximum of 2.5 knots, length 14 feet, hull 3 feet diameter with 1/4' ASTM 516 grade 70 steel, typical run time 8 hours, weight 3,000lbs, digital compass, CO2 scrubber, life support electronic battery status capacity, bottom scan sonar, analog depth gauge, emergency drop weights 500lbs, 9 acrylic viewports. **REGISTERED AS A 1989 HOMEMADE** **SOLD AS A PAIR WITH LOT 388.1**
