Rotisserie restored original body, matching numbers, factory installed air conditioning and PHS documentation. Rare YZ Code 4-bolt main 345hp Pontiac Ram Air III PHS documented 400cid motor, original 1970 Quadra-Jet carburetor, PQ Code Turbo 400 transmission, one year only 1970 COV Code 12-bolt positive traction rear end. Correct 1970 only 15' JW Coded Rally II wheels. A complete 18 month restoration. Car was originally sold new in Clearwater, FL. All suspension and steering has been replaced or

rebuilt. The motor, transmission and rear end have been completely rebuilt with quality parts. Currently has less than 500 miles on entire drivetrain and car. The motor received eight new +.030 pistons and rings, ARP rod and main bolt studs, +.010 main and rod bearings, new oil pump, new Ram Air III cam and bearings, lifters, new valves, valve springs, retainers and roller tipped rockers. Ram Air III exhaust manifolds. 12-bolt posi received new axle, carrier and pinion bearings as well as new clutch packs. New interior panels, head liner, seat upholstery and carpeting. The air conditioning system received a new compressor, evaporator, condenser, expansion and POA valves along with new hoses. In 1970 the Trans Am was introduced and due to the late introduction of the model only 3,196 of the 1970 models were produced. Power was from a 400cid Ram Air HO V8 engine offering 345hp. The car weighed 4,305 pounds. They had heavy duty shock absorbers and springs, front and rear stabilizers, power steering and power brakes. Inside there were Rally gauges, bucket seats, vinyl upholstery and carpeting. There were front and rear spoilers, shaker hood, side air extractors and aerodynamically styled outside mirrors.
