#1759 was sold brand new at Johnny Bolton Ford in Maitland, FL in 1966. The first owner was a military officer and shipped the car to Germany. He used the Shelby for several years before shipping it back to FL and selling it to the second owner in 1972. The car was used for many years and then stored for many more years. A three owner car, the Shelby was the subject of a ground-up restoration, taking a few years to complete. The restoration of this Shelby GT350 was completed in January of this
year and has 80 test miles on its HiPo 289cid since total restoration. The color is original blue with Wimbledon White stripes, coated in DuPont glamour clear. The interior is like new, including dash top, gauge housing, carpet, seat covers and much more. The car is riding on the factory original 10-spoke wheels mounted with Bridgestone radial T/A tires. This is a very desirable 4-speed car. The body is totally rust-free since it was new. The body panels are original and straight. The car is a no-excuses classic race car for the street. 64,000 original miles.
