The 10th Anniversary Trans Am package featured a platinum silver exterior with charcoal accents, and silver mirrored T-Tops. 860 actual miles since new. One of 1,817 10th Anniversary Trans Ams produced in 1979 with the Pontiac 400cid engine and 4-speed transmission. The two tone silver paint scheme was set off by an array of specific silver, red, and charcoal decals/stripes, including one of the largest hood birds ever used on a production Trans Am. featured silver leather seating surfaces, a gray leather covered Formula steering wheel, and embroidered eagles on the door panels and rear seat. The instrument panel was back lit in red. Thicker gray carpeting and added acoustical insulation rounded out the cabin. The 10th Anniversary Trans Ams received a unique VIN X Code to add to its exclusivity. In addition, the 10th Anniversary Trans Am received the legendary WS6 Special Performance Package which included 4-wheel disc brakes, stiffer springs, larger sway bars, quicker steering, stiffer bushings, and wider polished-dished aluminum 'Turbine' wheels. This unrestored, 860 actual mile example has an unbelievable amount of original documentation and paperwork including two original factory Build Sheets, original bill of sale/purchase order, original canceled vehicle title, odometer statement, shoulder belt instructions for visor, owner's manual, warranty book, maintenance schedule, and all other glove box items. The entire ownership history is highly documented. It has been properly stored and maintained in a climate controlled environment since new. This is a museum quality example right down to the original Goodyear Polysteel tires and is truly amazing throughout.
