Genuine frame-off restored, matching numbers 1966 Chevelle SS 396 4-speed convertible. This big block Chevelle includes, the original 325hp 396 V8 with factory VIN stamp, original M-21 4-speed with factory VIN stamp, original 12-bolt 3.31 Posi-traction rear end, Broadcast Sheet, original owner's manual, original Intake and exhaust manifolds, original 4-barrel carburetor, original distributor and original alternator which were with the car since new. It also came equipped with power brakes, T3
headlights, Knee Knocker tachometer and Mag style full wheel covers with redline tires. Built the 4th week of June at the Baltimore assembly plant. A prior owner removed the original carburetor, manifolds and distributor and kept them in a box, during the restoration these were re-built and re-installed. This Chevelle just received a nut and bolt, frame-off restoration with detailed engine bay, new interior, beautifully restored instrument cluster and dash, detailed undercarriage and suspension with factory paint and chalk marks. Painted it's original Marina Blue, with white top, it has only test miles since completion.
