One-of-a-kind, fully restored 1953 Reo Speedwagon F-20 Rescue Squad/Emergency Light Unit Truck. This amazing truck was used for transporting volunteer fireman for various emergencies by the Port Vue, PA fire department. It has all it original paperwork, order sheet, bill of sale from Reo in 1953. It has been fully restored to its original Flame Blue color with its correct gold leaf lettering and stripping. All its original sirens and lights have been restored and are in perfect working order. It also has all of its original brass fire extinguishers, axe and wooden first aid kit. It has been updated with a modern 454cid engine, automatic transmission, high speed rear end and air conditioning for modern driving comfort and reliability. The truck fits 15 people in the back and is great for promotional use, weddings, parades or would be great in a museum or private collection. It was recently featured in the June 2009 issue of Collectable Automobile Magazine.
