Throughout the years, the GM Vice President of Design has had the ability to test new vehicle styles on existing vehicles by creating special one-off cars. Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell, for example, inspired a number of special edition cars that were such big hits, they eventually became production vehicles. In 1993, the Camaro was in the process of being completely redesigned when Chuck Jordan decided to seize the opportunity to create a specialty Camaro. Chuck Jordan worked closely with the

legendary Chevrolet 3 Corvette/Camaro Studio to create this one-of-a-kind winged Camaro show car for his personal use. It features a custom Candy Apple Orange paint and trim scheme with a redesigned interior, including Italian leather to complement the exterior color treatment. The car was designed to test the aerodynamic and aesthetic opportunities for the Camaro and sports ground effects and a rear deck lid wing. This car was seen regularly on the streets of southeastern Michigan, making this Camaro more than a just show piece. THIS IS A MODIFIED VEHICLE.
