1 of 183 4-speed 442 convertibles made in 1971. This car had a complete full frame-off, concours restoration. Only the finest correct GM parts were used in this complete restoration. Equipped with the numbers matching 455 V8 with the numbers matching carburetor that sits on the upgraded W30 aluminum intake manifold. This engine was completely rebuilt to 1971 W30 specifications. The original manual transmission was completely rebuilt. This 442 has a posi-traction rear end. Everything on this 442
is new or completely rebuilt. This 442 has manual disc brakes with power steering. The options include power windows, power door locks, power trunk, power top, speed warning, tilt wheel, AM/FM stereo, remote drivers mirror, dual sport mirrors, rear view mirror map light and Super Stock I sport wheels. The Tic-Toc-Tach has been fully restored and recalibrated with new lenses on all the gauges. This 442 scored 980 out of 1,000 at the 2005 Olds Nationals.
