A rare, very clean, and well documented Z-11 Indy Pace Car Edition convertible. The vehicle is equipped with the original 350/300hp motor, Muncie 4-speed, power steering, power disc brakes and 12-bolt rear. The original owner's manual, booklet with Protect-O-Plate, miscellaneous receipts, and convertible top boot are also included. This vehicle is a beautiful driver with an older cosmetic restoration. The Dover White paint shows nicely with pace car decals on the side. Some of the chrome has been replaced with any remaining original chrome is in good shape. The orange houndstooth interior shows great with center console and original Hurst shifter and ball. The convertible top has been replaced recently and is in great condition. The car is mechanically solid and can drive anywhere. The motor has been freshened up to include rings, bearings and valve job. A recent tune-up has been completed to include an electronic conversion of the original single point distributor for trouble free operation. The 4-speed transmission has also been rebuilt. The brakes, clutch and rear differential have all been serviced and inspected, and all function well. The tires are original equipment Goodyear F70 14 on Chevrolet Rally wheels. The Trim Tag has additional documentation to include '720' orange houndstooth interior, paint Code '50A' Dover White and '03E' the 5th week of March for a build date. The Z-11 Indy Pace Car option is also designated on the Trim Tag.
