Custom restored in 1994 and driven 5,600 miles since. Hot VW's magazine feature car. This customized Notchback has had the body dechromed with shaved rear reflectors, beltline trim, front hood trim and front license plate mount. H-4 headlights. Paint is PPG urethane Hugger Blue with dark blue flame job outlined with silver pinstripes. Custom matching roof rack and window mount matching swamp cooler. Engine is highly detailed 1915cc, 041 heads, dual weber carburetors, Engle w100 cam, MSD Blaster
coil, 12-volt system, ceramic coated hideaway merged exhaust. Porsche alloy wheels are fully chromed, 4.5 fronts, 5.5 rears, disc front brakes, drum rear brakes. Fresh chrome on all rims, bumpers, head light rings and emblems. The cars interior is simple, done in black and dark gray velour. NOS. steering wheel, NOS gauges, Gene Berg shifter and Deist lap belts, pop-out rear windows and window tint.
