This nostalgic 1955 Chevy was built to capture the flavor of the early 60s. The car was preferred by many high school street rod'ers for its simple adaptation to the latest Chevy performance parts. This car was completed in 1993 and features a professionally built, race prepared Chevy 350, with an Isky cam and MSD ignition. It has the popular camel hump cast iron Corvette heads and the engine is topped off with a small B&M blower fed by a Holley double pumper with a custom fresh air system.

Cooling is handled by a mid-70s Corvette cross flow radiator. Setting behind the 350cid is a 360 degree scatter shield enclosing a stock Corvette clutch. The transmission is a Muncie 4-speed which delivers torque to the Ford 9' 3.90 rear end. The rear springs have been moved inboard of the frame and the wheel wells slightly tubbed, so the 10' Mickey Thompson street slicks can put maximum torque to the pavement. Stopping power is handled by Chevelle front disc brakes and stock drum brakes in the rear. The car sits on American mags in the front and Centerline's in the rear. The car is true to the 1960s era with manual steering and brakes. The white tuck-n-roll is real tuck-n-roll, pockets stuffed, not pleated foam. The interior is finished off with plush gray carpets and a white headliner. The stock dash is updated with Bel-Air trim and a full set of Stewart Warner gauges. It was completely stripped, primed and has a custom deep purple base coat clear coat paint with lavender and pink flames.
