This VW sedan was originally sold in Southern California, and lived most of its life here in Orange County. It has undergone a ground-up restoration to return it to it's original condition and beauty. The quality two-stage repaint is the original Sahara Beige. The engine is restored like the original single port 1600cc, not matching numbers, but all correct for 1968. Complete new interior from the carpet to the headliner. This boasts the original Sapphire IV AM VW radio and new original steering
wheel. All new window rubbers, chrome and windshield were installed. Rebuilt motor, transmission, brake system and suspension. New battery, wipers, hubcaps, all rubbers, fender beading, running boards, H4 headlights and rear tail light lenses. Everything works, drives and smells like a new 1968 Beetle from Germany.
