This 1972 GMC custom pickup is a showstopper. It underwent a full frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration two years ago. Powered by a fresh 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine mated to a 4L60E automatic transmission, with 5,274 miles since the build was completed. New crossmembers from Porterbuilt were installed, along with tubular Porterbuilt trailing arms, front upper and lower A-arms with self-leveling air bags all the way around, along with dual compressors and dual air tanks. Also includes upgrades such

as a rack & pinion steering and Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. This GMC is sitting on 20-inch Boss wheels that were professionally painted to match the truck. The paint is Flame Red from PPG and has four coats of clear, which has been cut and buffed for that crystal-clear mirror finish that is laser-straight. The gas tank was relocated to the back of the bed. Also has roll pans in front and the back. The front lights are projection halos. The interior has black ostrich leather and red leather, as well as AutoMeter gauges. Other features include a chrome tilt steering column with custom billet steering wheel, power windows, power mirrors and power door locks with keyless Viper alarm. The wing glass was replaced with a one-piece window kit. A nice sound system was installed with custom kick panels and two 12-inch subwoofers. The old air conditioning system was removed and a new air-conditioning system from Vintage Air was installed.
