Details
This 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible is finished in Bright Orange exterior paint accented by a modest amount of chrome on each side and new bumpers. It underwent a cosmetic and mechanical restoration this past winter. The black interior is all new, including the vinyl upholstery and the NOS steering wheel. The 1600cc 4-cylinder engine received a new carburetor and a tuneup, along with a restoration of the engine compartment, and is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. The
period-correct Mini-Lite wheels were restored, the outer rims were polished, the centers were painted black and the center cap insignias were replaced. The windshield was replaced, a new headlight switch was installed along with a new brake switch, and the front turn-signal bezels were replaced. The front storage compartment also received a complete restoration. Options for this 1973 Volkswagen Beetle convertible include a vinyl interior and radial tires.
