Details
This 1971 Cougar convertible was a Texas car when it was purchased by its current owner in 1990, and it has undergone a partial restoration consisting of an engine and transmission rebuild, as well as an interior restoration consisting of new seat covers, carpet, convertible top and replacement of the console. It was repainted in 1990 and again in 2010. In 2010, both bumpers were rechromed. The tires are in good condition. The engine was replaced in 2016 with a rebuilt 351ci Cleveland engine
with a 4-barrel carburetor and intake manifold, backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. The car is solid and drives well.
