This two-owner car was owned by a Jeep dealer in Derby, CT, for almost its entire life. It was ordered for the showroom with many extras, including the mirror package, factory mags and black paint. It was then raced car for many years on the road course circuit, sold and then totally restored to its original condition, right down to the Polyglas tires and mirror-like chrome bumpers and polished stainless trim. This AMX is one of just 525 made with the 290ci V8 engine and a 4-speed manual
transmission.
