This Datsun King-Cab 620 Pickup is a real-deal unrestored original West Coast mini truck built in 1977 by Kolor Me Kustom's Vini 'Big Daddy' Bergeman, the godfather of the custom van and mini truck movement in Southern California in the 1970s. It was taken to Bergeman to transform this truck into what became SoCal's most famous Datsun mini truck of the era. Original features include all-steel flares, a Monza front end, bubble side windows, air dam, rear rolled pan, hood louvers, swivel seats,
Tru-Spoke wire wheels, Craig 8-track and frenched antenna. This truck still wears its original custom 6-tone and California fade paint from 1977, original custom tufted interior, hi-rise custom bed topper with cab/bed pass-through that was popular in the mini-truck world of the era. The original owner was the founder of the Southern California Mini-Truck Council truck club, which just celebrated its 40th anniversary this year. It has 79,000 miles and still retains its original California pink slip. It also has the unused spare tire, jack tools, original books and warranty manual from new. The truck was put in climate-controlled storage in 1992 after being on the show circuit since 1977. It saw a 25-year hiatus until it was discovered this past year, brought into the light of day and featured at a few shows. It's fully serviced and has brand-new BFG radial T/A tires. 2,200cc 4-cylinder engine with 4-speed manual transmission.
